I ordered 3 pupusas and he gave me the first two hot off the griddle. Then with the third, gave us a free dessert! “ Stopped here after about 7 8 games of Pickleball, with a big appetite left full, satisfied, with plenty for at least another meal. Had the Ground Beef burrito, and it was yummy! The House made chips and salsa were also delicious. these were complimentary Theres something about the chips that really stuck out for me in a positive way. They werent greasy at all, and had a nice taste crunch to them. The salsa had a little kick but not too much. they brought other sauces to the table you could use as well that Im guessing were spicier, but Im not a spicy gal Employees were friendly, the atmosphere is very casual. Prices are definitely reasonable fair Will be back! The only thing I wish they had on the menu, was Elote. ”

“ Maris restaurant formerly Hay Chihuahua is an instant classic that require little convincing to try. I regretfully have not tried birria tacos, but their other selection of food and portions will whet your appetite. I had their signature burrito with flautas and a tamale and fell in love. The crunch from the flautas and the spice feels limiting in that the portions seem small, but each bite packs a punch. Their chicken enchiladas are very tender. You can pretty much guarantee that youll order taquitos every time you come here, but their main dishes are hard to compete with. My main gripe about this restaurant is its location. If youre on south rand road at the right time during rush hour after work, you may get blinded by the sun on the way over and exiting. The road is also a oneway, so bupkes for everyone else, right? I think Ill have to ask them to up the spice on their tomatillo salsa. Extremely tasty, but it didnt quite egg me hard enough. Check it out. Great restaurant. ”

“ Ive been waiting for a more traditional Mexican spot in LZ and Maris absolutely delivered!! It is such a cozy and comfortable spot, with quick and friendly service. Prices are super reasonable and the portions you get are perfect. Ive tried a few of the tacos and the steak burrito the tacos are my favorite, but if you are a meat lover they absolutely LOAD the burritos with steak! Chips are warm and fresh every time, and the salsa is perfect not too spicy, but not too much tomato flavor. Guac is super fresh and creamy, and served in a chip bowl so you can enjoy every last bite. Cant wait to keep coming back to try more. ”

“ First visit here even though we are locals. Its a small restaurant and seating was a little tight for us against the window but overall it worked out ok. The food itself was fantastic! My wife had the cheese enchilada dinner and I had four steak tacos. We shared a Nachos Carchados which was also great! Beverage refills were slow in coming on two occasions but otherwise service was good. The bottled Salsa Verde and Salsa Roja at our table lacked flavor and were very different than any Ive had elsewhere. Not comparatively authentic in my experience. Overall we really enjoyed the food and will definitely return for another meal! ”

“ Small local business that opened recently maybe L12M. Authentic feel inside. Very mom pop vibe. Service was fast and on point personnel was kind and helpful. My husband ordered a birria plate similar to whats trending on Tik Tok and he cant wait to get it again. I got popusas and one wa sa bit soggy with adding avacado on it and some sauce it was still delicious. I would order something else next time. I dont know if they have alcohol drinks. They did offer Mexican sodas and water. Great local spot for a quick and effortless meal. ”
